How users can join GMC sponsored GoToMeeting

Overview

When a GoToMeeting is created, there may be steps on the attendee side to prepare their computer to enter the meeting. It may involve installing a small G2M applet if they have never used GotoMeeting before. The attendee will need admin or install rights on their local system to perform this.

 

Detailed Process:
Step 1:
Open Internet Explorer.

 

Step 2: Type in www.joingotomeeting.com


Step 3: 
Enter the meeting ID that the meeting organizer sent to you.  Click “continue”.

Step 4: (This step will only be necessary if GoToMeeting has never been used on this computer.) The “Install GoToMeeting” screen will be displayed. A download prompt will be displayed,

Click on “Run”. If you are prompted with the message “Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to your computer,” click “Yes”. This process may take a few minutes.

Step 5: Fill in your name and email address on the right. Click OK

Final Step: At this point you should see the Presenter’s computer screen. For the Audio portion, the presenter will send the dial in number and passcode.
