How to Setup 2FA for VPN

You will receive an email from helpdesk@nazarene.org with the Subject of “FTM Activation on FortiGate.” Please keep the email handy as we will use it in an upcoming step.

1. Install the FortiToken Mobile App:

1. On your phone, go to either the Apple App Store  or Android Play Store
2. Search for and install FortiToken Mobile. Or you can scan the QR codes below with your phone to take you right to it.
   
   

2. Setup the FortiToken Mobile App:

The Fun Way

1. Open the email with the Subject of “FTM Activation on FortiGate” and double click the QR code attachment.
2. On your phone, open the newly installed FortiToken Mobile app and select the plus icon in the upper right corner.
3. Scan the QR code. It will create a new entry called FortiToken.
4. You are now ready to enter the 6-digit code when prompted for VPN.

OR

The Not So Fun Way

1. Open the email with the Subject of “FTM Activation on FortiGate.”
2. On your phone, open the newly installed FortiToken Mobile app and select the plus icon in the upper right corner.
3. Select “Enter Manually” near the bottom.
4. Select “Fortinet” from the 3 options.
5. Enter a name you would like to call it, i.e., FortiToken.
6. Enter the 16-character code from the email, and click “Done.”
7. You are now ready to enter the 6-digit code when prompted for VPN.
