GMC Password Portal Self-Service Tool (UnlockMe)
Description : This system allows end users to unlock their AD account and change their password. Users can use the website https://unlockme.nazarene.org or the mobile app ADSelfServicePlus . The app is available for Android and iPhone. See Steps here .
Accessing and Setting Up UnlockMe.nazarene.org
- Go to: https://unlockme.nazarene.org
- Log In In with your Username, enter the Captcha and click Login.
- Enter your Password (same as you use on your computer), enter the Captcha and click Login.
- Click on the Enrollment tab.
- Select Set Up under Security Questions & Answer .
- Select 2 Security Questions and supply your answers (you will enter the answers twice).
- Click Update .
Note: You can Hide/Show your answers by using the Check Box under the second question.
Note: There are 3 total authentication methods that can be used:
- Verification Code (automatically setup with your email address)
- Security Questions
- Google Authenticator - See instructions on the next page
Setup Google Authenticator
- Click Set up under Google Authenticator on the Enrollment screen.
- Follow the steps provided.
- Click Verify Code .
Using Unlockme.nazarene.org - Account Unlock
- Go to: https://unlockme.nazarene.org
- Click on Account locked down?
- Enter your Username and the Captcha .
- Click Continue .
- Choose how you want to prove your identity and enter the Captcha .
- Click Continue .
- Fill in the required information based on the method chosen on the previous page.
- Enter the Captcha and click Continue .
- On this final page enter the Captcha and click Unlock Account .
Using Unlockme.nazarene.org - Forgot Password
- Go to: https://unlockme.nazarene.org
- Click on Forgot your password?
- Enter your Username and the Captcha .
- Click Continue .
- Choose how you want to prove your identity and enter the Captcha .
- Click Continue .
- Fill in the required information based on the method chosen on the previous page.
- Enter the Captcha and click Continue .
- Choose and enter a new password in both fields and enter the Captcha .
- Click Reset Password .
Password Requirements:
- Must be 14 characters or longer
- Cannot contain the user’s account name or part of the user’s full name that exceed two consecutive characters
- Must contain three of the following four categories:
a. English uppercase characters (A-Z)
b. English lowercase characters (a-z)
c. Base 10 digits (0-9)
d. Non-alphabetic characters (ex. !, $, #, %). Any Unicode character that does not fall under the previous three categories
Access and Setting up ADSelfServicePlus App
- Install ADSelfServicePlus app from your app store.
- Launch the app and click on Server Settings
- Enable HTPS , enter unlockme.nazarene.org as the server name and 443 as the port.
- On Android , click Save . On iOS , click Done .
The app is now ready to be used. Please setup Identity Verification methods through https://unlockme.nazarene.org. See Steps here .
Using ADSelfServicePlus App - Unlock Account
- Open the ADSelfServicePlus app.
- Click on Account Unlock .
- Enter your Username and click Next .
- Choose an Identity Verification method and click Next .
- Fill in the required information based on the method chosen on the previous screen.
- On the final screen click Unlock .
Using ADSelfServicePlus App - Forgot Password
- Open the ADSelfServicePlus app.
- Click on Password Reset .
- Enter your Username and click Next .
- Choose an Identity Verification method and click Next .
- Fill in the required information based on the method chosen on the previous screen.
- Choose and enter a new password in both fields and click Reset .
Password Requirements:
