How to Setup OBS to control Audio Feed for Zoom

Using OBS to control Audio and Video feed gives you the ability to manually adjust audio and video sync problem for certain installation.

 

1 Install Virtual Audio Cable

Download and install Virtual Audio Cable from the link below.

2 Setup OBS

 Setup Virtual Audio Cable as your Monitoring Device

• In OBS click on settings -> Select Audio in the left side options
• Scroll down to Advanced and select the Virtual Audio cable as the monitoring device and click OK

 Select the right source to monitor

• Click on the gear icon for the audio mixer in OBS and select Advanced Audio Properties
• For your Microphone select Monitor and Output in the Audio Monitoring option.

3 Setup Zoom

Select Audio settings in zoom and select Cable Output... as the default mic Zoom will use.
